Cycling in Stockholm – what to expect
Stockholm is one of the easier European capitals to cycle in. Main roads have separated cycle lanes, drivers expect bikes, and the shoreline paths link the islands without much traffic at all. The inner city around Norrmalm, Vasastan and Kungsholmen is flat; Södermalm sits on a ridge and every route onto it climbs.
