How far is your bike rental from Stockholm Central Station?

About seven minutes. The pick-up point is at Tegnérlunden 2A, a short distance north of the station via Vasagatan and Drottninggatan.

Can I rent a bike on the day I arrive in Stockholm?

Yes, as long as we have your dates confirmed. We are open Monday 10:00–22:00 and Tuesday to Sunday 08:00–22:00, so an evening arrival is usually fine.

What do I do with my luggage?

Use the luggage storage at Central Station or check in at your accommodation first. Our bikes have a rear rack but are not set up for large suitcases.

Can I take a rental bike on the train or metro?

Bikes are not allowed on the Arlanda Express and are restricted on the metro, so plan your rides as rides. Central Stockholm is small enough that you rarely need public transport once you have a bike.

Our pick-up point at Tegnérlunden 2A is about seven minutes from Stockholm Central Station, which makes it a practical first stop if you arrive by train or from Arlanda Airport. Bikes start at 220 SEK per day with a lock and lights included, and the ride from the station into the centre is flat the whole way.

What to see and do around Central Station

Central Station is where most visitors arrive, whether by train, by the Arlanda Express or on the airport coach. It is not a sightseeing destination in itself, but it is a good starting line: from the station you are ten minutes from the Old Town by bike, fifteen from Djurgården and twenty from the far side of Södermalm.

Practical tips for riding here

Luggage is the real question on arrival day: leave bags in the station lockers or drop them at your hotel first, because a city bike has a rack but no panniers.
The area right outside the station is busy with buses and taxis – ride the first two blocks calmly or walk them.
Bikes cannot be taken on the Arlanda Express, so plan to collect yours after you reach the city.
