60–80 km in normal assistance mode, depending on rider weight, wind and how often you use the highest setting. That is more than enough for a full day of sightseeing in Stockholm.

Do I need a licence to ride an e-bike in Sweden?

No. Our electric bikes are pedal-assist bicycles with support up to 25 km/h, which Swedish law treats exactly like an ordinary bicycle. No licence, insurance or registration is required.

Is a charger included when I rent an electric bike?

Yes, a charger comes with every hire longer than one day. On single-day hires the battery is fully charged when you collect the bike.

About our electric bikes

Stockholm is built on fourteen islands, and the ground rises sharply as soon as you leave the flat centre. An e-bike flattens all of it. The ride from the city centre out to Djurgården (the royal park island), across to Hammarby Sjöstad and back becomes an easy afternoon rather than a workout. We charge every battery fully before hand-over and show you how the assistance levels work when you collect the bike.
